Would have really whittled it down if you'd have said "20's 30's hot rods other than Fords and without Chevy motors".
I have had couple non fords: Plymouth (was 4d ,then modified to 2d 5w coupe) She´s frozen... Oldsmobile 31: Inside olds looked like patio with light seats. Nash 37:
'36 Stovebolt with 3speed/OD, we had a couple years ago, ebayed to Ohio. Problems with the pics . . . try this.
Someone post a picture of that awesome hemi powered Austin that just graced the cover of Old Skool Rodz. It's got be the best example of a non-Ford hot rod to come along in years. Frank
That beetle has to be ugliest beetle that i´w ewer seen... Sorry! Even so that it has v8 , it still gives me creeps!
If your going to go the VW root... at lease post something close to a hot rod... i found this on on e-bay a wile back

Here's my non Ford hot rod, Its not really anything. I'm building the body from various pieces, but mostly hand fabbed panels, I'm much too cheap for a true roadster. Besides, no one else has one of these and I like to be different.
Alf, that looks damn good. Something about it captures the essence of an early racer without veering off into channeled rat rod territory. Normally I'm not into cars that low, but man that's cool. Nice job.
