Wanting some opinions on good companies to by gl*** parts from. I've been burned once or twice and I'm sure others have too.

One company I've had good luck with is Gl***tek , but the 55 front they have is for pro mod style cars (I want the complete hood top without the cutout.) http://www.gl***tek.com/
We bought a front bumper for our 65 chevelle from them and you can't see a flaw in it. We're sending it out to be chromed soon.

I'm going to start a 55 chevy g***er project with a gl*** tilt front, who makes the best one?

Glastek is local to me and have used some of their gl*** hoods for some OT cars that I built and had very good luck with them.

    Try V.F.N.fibergl***.com

They sell both race weight and street weight gl***- and their stuff is nigh quality.

and nope, I don't work there, nor am I a dealer for their products.

I've not seen good quality fibergl*** from any of the sources listed. If it looks right (contour, etc) its as heavy as steel.
If it's light, like it should be, the shape and fit is garbage.

My car as seen in my avitar is from unlimited (up22.com). I should have spent a little more and got a poliform body. I'm disappointed with the surface and body lines.

I've bought from unlimited before, got a 65 chevelle deck lid and it was so far out of wack it's still sitting in the corner. I refused to pay shipping back to them so they could tell me it was bad. I figured they might have checked before it left.

I should mention Eric has been in contact with me the whole time.

He has had delays and has been very accomodating with discounts and I am going to buy my 55 one peice front from them.

I don't know if they have stuff for your car or not, but I have a pair of Wescott rear fenders on my 39 and I am pretty damned impressed with their fit, strength, and finish...
