Who repops these Pontiac Stars???

I have been trying to buy all of these 56-57 Pontiac fender stars i can find.I have picked up a few on Ebay,but god lord the money they are asking.Is there by chance somebody out there that repop's these bad boys .Thanks for any help

 

they are definitely repopped,,,,cant tell you by who though,,,,(big help,,right?)

No one does that I'm aware of. It would be a fairly simple project to make a mold and have some made.

Are these things worth money? I know where two Star Chief sedans are sitting... with eight of them on each.

 

I have paid has much has 25.00 for two of them.And 35.00 for six.The prices vary.the six i bought will need to be rechromed

 

Try Ames Performance Engineering in Marlboro NH or California Pontiac Restorations.I think Year One has them as well.Last time I saw them they were about $7 apiece.

Yep, if Ames doesn't have them no one will. But be aware they outsource a lot of stuff from other actual makers, if you can track down who makes them you might be able to buy them cheaper.

 

Dosnt Niteprowlers have them too.
