Detroit Autorama 2009 Wednesday night set up

I saw some old friends and made some new ones (Fritz, his wife and Mark Moriarity). I can't wait to go bak tomorrow. I'll get some more shots. I hope to meet as many HAMB members as possible. See you this weekend.

Um... How could the Minneapolis show ever compare with Detroit? haha... Detroit is like the "SpeedWeek" of Bonneville... since the fifties its always been "the show" of the year.



Detroit is holy land... even if it looks like HELL.

I can't wait to see that stuff this weekend!!! Its gonna be a RAD show.

Thanks for the pics not really sure what to say about some of the subject matter but looks like lots of cool stuff can't wait to see more.

Looks like it is gonna be a great show this year, wish I could be there. I had a blast last yr and really recomend it to anyone who could attend

Thanks, now I'll never get to sleep. I'm supposed to get up and load the car around 7 am, now I'm too excited.

 

I love the traditional Rod's with their great history, I don't pretend to know a ton about them. Some of the fun is learning what the scene is all about and researching the cars I shoot. I promise not to yack about my modern Hot Rod in front of you guys. The only thing I'll say about it is when I swap cams, it's 4 at a time.

That gives new meaning to, "If a little is good, then too much is not enough". I guess I'll have to start saving for two superchargers and a three foot tall scoop . We're going Saturday.
