I was raised doing paintjobs in the backyard with my Dad...many cars! Me and my brother painted my '62 in that same backyard back in '02...and also my old '51 (which now belongs to my brother) in that yard back in '96. Later on, I rattlecanned the white top of my '62 in the front yard, and D-Ray striped it...

when painting out in the backyard & you get a bug (bee, big mosquito, fly, etc...) buried in the paint. people will come & point it out -- you say yep 'i got him' & the little bastard almost got away BUT i got him!! :D
thats what i always say if i get a bug in the paint.

This is a damage picture I took. I wish I'd taken more pics when it was perfect, and before the horrible, car shattering events of last may. got some somewhere, I just gotta find em. but heres something- painted in the garage. 1st paint job ever and I decide to go with a three step candy. it was hard, but if you follow the directions to a tee and memorize that shit, it aint so bad.

This is one example of the cars that I`ve painted, this Ford Cortina was painted an early spring morning outside the garage in the rising sun in -87 ? Can`t remember, it`s too long ago... Color is somekind of Mercedes white acrylic.

OK, Nothing to be proud of, and an OT car, but I got it done with 15 cans of walmart $1 flat black spray cans. The car had a lot of surface rust, so I sanded it down Sprayed it up in my back yard. I also patched the front fenders and rear quarters, lowerd the front about 2", and it had a rebuilt GS350 and auto. All back yard work, and it looked good cruisin' at night....

Dirt floor pole shed, just threw down some old carpet, hosed it down with water and started spraying.

Buick done in the garage, running out of warm weather (plenty of leaves though)

A couple OTs (sold to find a Riviera)

A couple more OTs. Looking at these old pics, it looks like a flamed door was more important than insulation and drywall at the time.
