Iowa and Illinois hamb meeting????

April 4th(saturday), big muddys, Burlington Iowa at noon. Bring as many as you want! I just need to have a count for the restaurant.

 

slickster then count me in form the Indy event, I have never been there and well I dont race so its really not that exciting for me. I just like seeing peeps, but another show is always nice. Matters on the Cash flow at the time though if I can make a trip that far

I agree with popo we have the river and mississippi valley fairgrounds- can get ahold of shawn loter or bob fox - sturgis on the river is scheduled for father's day weekend i believe the next five years and the flyin eyeball in mid-august -huge antique motorcycle swap meet on labor day --

 

I think burlington is more of a medium for alot that have contacted me. This is alot of parking and it is on the river as well.

 

... and you live there -do they still have the car shows in Navoo on Labor Day weekend ?

 

yes they do! its hot as hell,but its a nice show.... lots of non hamb stuff, but its still pretty good!

 

burnnflamz, it doesn't really make a difference that I live in burlington, but mainly it is more of a central place for everyone that has contacted me. You are more than welcome to come and maybe you could even set one up in davenport later in the year!

Goin' down 61? I'll be cutting cross country, not faster but a little more interesting than US67 to 34 and across. Any of you guys from Iowa been on 99 from Toolsboro to Burlington lately? What shape is it in? I used to like taking that when I'd go for a cruise in the '62. We travelled that road a lot when I was a kid and the New Boston ferry was running. I might backtrack to Mu****ine and take that route.
