Because I'm very rich, my house is the highest one in the neighborhood, at least we might be spared the flooding. I'm getting ready for three days of hurricane monkey ***, I haven't told my wife about it yet.

Thanks for the concerns and well wishes from the HAMBers outside of Florida. Just finished preparing,storm shutters up,plants and everything inside,plenty water and batteries. Nothing to do for the next few days but wait and pray. (too old for that monkey ****,Nads ) Francis is so big and moving so slow the whole state is going to feel it. JR... Talked to my brother-inlaw a while ago. He lives and works for FAA in Ft. Lauderdale. He's on over-time, and says the storm is only moving about 4 mph. He says it's a DANDY, so you folks down there had better get ready. Good luck and be safe. McCray

Nads, one time I was on I-4 right there near kissimme (actually Dundee) and saw a gorgeous, all original "patinae" dino. Was haulin ***, too. Probably the same guy. It was nice seeing a car like that driven hard and put up wet.
Lights are starting to flicker, and the wind is starting to howl, just waiting for the power to go out, and then I'll have to drink all the beer before it get warm. Don't expect any word from Central FL HAMBers for at least a few days. P.S. ABC 28 News Don Germaise is a complete nutjob.

I talked to Grinder earlier....he high-tailed it to Georgia, so he's ok. He talked to Nads, and he was ok at the time. It's on top of Orlando AND Tampa now. Sanford supposedly got hammered...West Palm got pounded. There's a lot of HAMB'ers around the "I-4 corridor", and on the east coast that will be affected by this. I just took a "golf cart survey" with the neighbors, and there is some pretty good wind out there. Some roofs of sheds in the neighborhood were allready peeling back. There are green leaves and limbs everywhere.
