Could somebody out there measure the length of a standard 390 (pre 62)Caddy pushrod and let me know please, need to check against the specials I have. Thanks
Back in the early to mid-1960's a company named Gotha offered tubing and ends to allow you to make your own push rods - they even had adjustable ends. I think they also made rocker arms and degree wheels. If you can find info on Gotha, you may find a chart of lengths by engine. Yes Paris, it's a long shot - might be as rare as a muffler on a Harley. Given your location, it may be difficult to pop into a local garriage for an off the shelf look.
You're not kidding! Knew I shouldn't have thrown the old Knitting needle types away when I got these! My custom rods could be stock length...... I never checked. They were OK for the lifters I had, that was all that mattered at the time.
