Oh he touched it. And it was a very BAD touch...

Amongst other touches. Yeah the flame throwers, the lettering. We could make a list.

Hey, anyone know what time the awards ceremony is today? i gotta get back down there in time to move my car out, but i couldn't find a schedule. The only info i could find about "move out" was that it would start immediately after the awards presentation.

Have to admit that I was disappointed. Not by the cars, but the crowd. Downstairs Saturday was a mad house. Could not move or stop and look without being trampled over. I also got down there right as the Bikini contest started, so they had roped off a good section of cars.

I also could not find the HAMB area. I really wanted to meet some of the good folks here in person. That was my biggest disappointment.

I was so upset, I went upstairs and bought a new welder..

The awards are at 7pm. I think they will open the doors at 8 to let people out. I am driving home, feel sorry for the guys with trailers.

Anybody see the sewer water leaking on the fancy cars upstairs. I dont know if it was sewer water, but it looked like it.

With as many HAMBers that were there, it was amazing you couldn't find the Single Finger Speed Shop storefront. Not to mention the group shot above!

the show is over at 8pm .thoes who can drive out get to go first .it's fun to see the cars drive out and open headers sound good in dowenton detroit. then they start to let the trailer people in.we are leaving to go down to cobo at ten and get there about 11pm that way most all the other guys are loaded up and gone .we have two cars to get.
it's like going to canada, can't wait to get there and have fun then you can't wait to get home. see ya

We went up yesterday, sat. Got there at 10 am stayed all day dang the place was packed, hard to walk anywhere, but there was some nice cars top floor and downstairs. Detroit as a town though sucks, they ought to rename it pothole city, or trash town. Really sad to see so many homes and buildings boarded up.

i loved it this year, i had a blast...cought up with some people from the hamb. Met some new people as well, saw some amazing cars and met some great owners of those cars (a few i turned onto the hamb). Most of the builders were nice enough to let me inside the ropes so they could show me around and tell me little things here and there. We also went around and saw detroit some, greek town was cool and we had the best deep dish pizza EVER!!!

Went Sat with Jdubbya, Billy and my wife, Jenny. Disappointed in the cars downstairs, and upstairs for that matter. Glad to see some friends and catch up.
Just remember, crap is crap......cool cars and bikes are just that.

  23. Friday Afternoon Shots....Mike and others have posted some great shots to share with everyone who could not make the show; additionally Mike covered the basement better than I could ever hope to so I'd like to contribute a few others cars that I haven't seen too many shots of yet to give all of you who couldn't make it to The D, a good sense of the show so that maybe you'll make it next year...Enjoy !!

The basement was filled with cars that I wish were mine. I live at Middlebelt and I-96.

  28. I really like in the beginning of these pics where it shows that guy cleaning his whitewall, It appears that at some recent shows around here(west coast) it is cool to show up to a show with your whitewalls filthy.I dont know when this became cool or maybe its just a passing trend but it makes me sick.

  29. Great photo's, Mike! It was a fantastic time!
