It's a good day...

The weather down here has been awesome the last couple of days. It kind of made up for not being able to make Detroit. Well not really but let me live in my fantasy ok. This morning, as usual, I drove into town to have coffee with friends. Sunday is the day I try and stay out of the shop. I figure 6 days a week is more than enough. So I cruised around with the windows down. Some good music, some from the stereo and some from the 425. Cruised through downtown and scoped out some spots for shooting cars.











The good ones are going quick as they gentrify the area. But I found a few that may work and took some pics of Buick with my "point and shoot" just for ****s and giggles.



and of course the obligatory leaning on the car pose.



I did happen to stop by the shop to grab a couple of things but swear I did no work today.



Then I headed to the pet store for supplies for the girls and home to do yard work.

It's a really good feeling to cruise around in something you built and sometimes amidst the hustle and bustle of the daily grind I forget this...

Now I was bummed this morning, needed the truck since I have to pick up a couple of things this morning. But the weather is still awesome. Maybe I'll swing by the house at lunch and grab her.
