    used to have a mercedes benz V8 ! blew it up ! had a caddy 500ci ready for it but put it in son-in-laws dragster and he blew it up !! so for 2009 has a rover (ex buick 215ci ) as its street driven regularly and gas costs a lot over here .........havent blown it up ......yet.......... - big engine planned for next year ...ive just got a pair of 4 1/2 x 15`slots and 135x15s to go on and want to get the back end DOWN 3" :eek:
     

  5. Gotta say its different, but I'm not totally in tune with the British Hot Rod scene. I do know from experience that g***ers more often than not are built from what is readily available and I making an ***umption here that that was available.

    Neat little hooptie non the less. The little Rover mill as I understand it can be made quite peppy. All that happens is you drop a cl*** or two, right?

    yeah , old skool ht rod enginuitty , use what you can find.....s**** yards are virtually outlawed because of re-cycling laws here , so you have to buy - scrounge - swap - whatever you can find , in a perfect world ide love a 2 door , b.b.c V8, `55 chevy g***er , but at least my grandkids can get in-n-outta this one ! last year gas reached £6.20 a gallon ( at the time about $12 ) now its £4.50 a gallon ( only...$6.50 ! ) :mad: rover V8`s are still the most comon V8 over here as they are fitted to vans and range rovers that rust quickly !
