a little help m-22

how much is a good m-22 worth? its in my truck and works just fine.... i'd rather have an auto....

 

I'll trade ya, even up. What auto trans would you like? I've got fresh rebuilds of C-6, 350turbo, 400turbo, and 700r4...

 

I paid 800 for my muncie rebuilt with the lower shaft bushed so its all tight and true.

Are you sure it's a M-22? They are a pretty rare transmission, worth a lot of money to a muscle car restorer. You might do a websearch to find out the differences in a standard Muncie (M-20,M-21) and a M-22.

M-22`s make a noise. They are also worth more than a 20 or 21...I would say $1000-1500? Really depends on buyer and ****** shape also.

You can buy rebuilt ones for like 1800-2200. But you can also buy a new Richmond T-10 for like 1500...

It's worth what you can sell it for and this thread will only devolve into accusations that you don't actually have an M22 combined with griping about how much they cost.

(they're worth a grand used)

Oh Yeah.....big money for an M-22. I purchased an M-21 with shifter, clutch, pressure plate, shift fork and bell housing for $600.
