    With help from my Father (Mike) we finished my roadster this year, and made the trip to the Grand national roadster show(suede palace).I never hade time to swing by and see gramps. thought I would share the photo, and take the time to post some more photos...so here goes

    Weekend after the show,took my first drive, an 85 mile cruise down to Malibu, with my wife, "here is a nice little spot for some shots"....

  3. 29...saw your car at the Suede Palace and really enjoyed it. Traditional, understated and very well done. I really like the wheel and tire combo...makes the car "pop". Bring her down to the "Anti Donut Breakfast" gathering in Huntingtion Beach some Saturday. Heck, I'll even buy!

    I'm sure you have seatbelts in that gorgeous car to keep the little ones and their Daddy safe.

    yep got some belts...girls ride is only to the stop sign, 6 houses away..
    and yes gramps loved it ...will be picking him up for breakfast this weekend in it.

    sxdxmike...no rumble seat....I built a gas tank (little over 16 gal)myself and caped it whith 36 hubcaps .Here is a photo during the build

    Man...you NAILED it!
    You've got a lot of nice little details going on in that car but it comes off as clean and simple...not a bit overdone.
    Kinda shows why Satin black with red rims got popular in the first place!!!
    I'm really impressed. ;) :D

    This is one of the best rods I've seen pictured! Simple, understated, SWEET! And family history to boot! I wouldn't change a thing. It's obvious that the kids like it; I bet Gramps gets a big charge out of it, too! You're a most fortunate man...
