Projects ***updated pictures-my 32 truck puts some clothes on***

well the progress on the truck has been fairly good.other than some small details,the chassis is done.yesterday we put the body on and got it all buttoned up.next on the list is the wiring and some paint work on the gas tank,column and bed.see ya'll at the round up.


for thoes who want to know,it will be a few years before the sheet metal looks as nice as the chassis.next project in line is a 68 camaro,for the wife.

Beautiful chassis. What alternator and bracket are you using? I am having trouble getting an alternator to fit down low without it bumping into the vega box on my '32 rpu.

Just curious, why does the exhaust system not run all the way to the back of the frame?

 

sorry,but i don't have yet.i know of one that i worked on a number of years back.the owner has a hot rod that needs some finishing,i plan to see if i can get it from him.

i would like to build a pro-touring style camaro.not over the top,but a real nice driver that will handle great.that is my plan for now.

no gas tank on the back of the frame,and the bed is another foot after that,so i didn't want the exhaust to be out in the air with nothing around it.

that's the reason.

the alt. is one from an 84-86 honda civic,and the bracket is one i make.they even fit in a 32 frame that is pinched 5/8" per side at the crossmember.

 

just goats,no day workers.

Wowee, that looks dynamite! What size wheels/tires are you running there? Looks good! I've got a new '34 that I'm putting together now with a pinched, bobbed '34 frame that's been shorted to '32 wheelbase. I'm gonna run '35 wires. I'll be real happy if I can get a stance like that. Nice work!
