  1. Yeah Lowcab, that is beautiful work. I really like how the grain is coming through, particularly in the interior and door.
Thanks a lot Flathead, very kind of you to say! I'll definitely check out that group!

Did this in trade to Luckystrike for a super bitchin' panel! The colors in the photo came out a bit dark but it's late and I didn't feel like messin with it.

Bare Metal and not shy about it!
The Gizmoness. Huh? Here's a very cool, groundbreaking
bobber that's appearing at various shows. I don't know
who built it. In fact I'm not to sure about anything
with this car. But I am sure of one thing.
I love it! Oh yeah; the logo says Peterbilt.

  10. Squindo posted a Hula Girl on the FAS a few weeks back, and was offering it for sale...well, my wife has a small business doing purses & hair clips, so I asked Mr Squindo if he could add the company name to the drawing so I could surprise her for her birthday...

Excuse the appaling cellphone pic, but here is the result, thanks again Tony...she's SUPER STOKED with her Squindo original

  11. 32, My Brother is living in Limerick; "Stab City," as it's known to the locals,
and he's doing it by choice. Well, actually by calling, He's a Franciscan Friar.
They're known as "The Monks of Meelick." Even tho they're not monks.
Are you familiar with the area? He was on 'The Late Show' (Like the Irish
version of the Conan O'brian show.)

  13. LowCab, That is a beauty! I wanna join the fray but I don't know if I'll have time.
I've been busy for a guy that's out of work...

Here's my continuing saga which is getting very O.T. but, for those who've been following
it, you understand why. I wrote the Mods and asked that they tell me 'when' if I'm pushing too far astray of the H.A.M.B. theme and had no reply so I'll push on 'til
I'm asked not to. Apologies to those who may be offended...

Presenting, the lost history of "The wonder years"

    Love the wood grain painting!

I have a friend whom only uses wood stain to paint like that. Should show here your painting, might be inspiring for her too.

Love the art in this place.

    Well,

Can a non cool car owner get in n some of this stuff?

Here is an unfinished sculpture project, I am bringing back into the shop. All the truss work gets filled with copper panels and nice patina. It is part of a tensile struckture and will be Kinetic.

This is a mini mockup for life scale formed sculpture. To be polished aluminum this spring. Just the top human form that is.

Getting a head start on the buck. I will probably remake this, but wanted to see if I could make it in one piece.

    Getting there.

My impression of the HAMB has been wrong. I had no idea there was a section for art every week. This is great! I don't think I have ever seen so much fantastic car related art in one place like this before. I think I am going to like it here!

I could spend hours pouring over past posts on this site. How the hell am I supposed to get any work done??!!! Anyway, here is my 2 cents......a 90% complete T shirt design, this one aimed at modified short trackers from the 60s and 70s. Still needs some tweaking and some hand lettering.

  20. As always the art kicks ass! I especially dig the flyer by Sinclair, and Metalhotrodgirl's new ink! Tight! Here are some offerings from the artists at www.Dichrome.com. Some kick ass glass shift knobs for your viewing pleasure. Love the eye candy! St. Patric's Day theme on top by Lunchbox. An awesome blue pinwheel by Chris Rice. A skull and flowers by me. And Crusin Nationals knobs can be pre-ordered. $80 with 50% of the proceeds going to help fight Alzheimers Disease. :)
