Will a turn signal switch from a 1951 Mercury work on a 1950 Mercury? The part numbers are different. The part number for the 1951 is 1M-14486 from what I am told. I don't have a manual that covers 1951. The part number for the 1950 is 0L-14486 according to my manual. The dash and columns appear to be the same and both cars are single bulb taillight/turn signal. Did they just change the part number because of a slight design change? Thanks for any input.
