I'd say something but I just keep drooling. I even had to show my wife. She was truly impressed also. And to think that is done by hand and not a machine is incredible.

Hard to believe thats even humanly possible. I dont dare weld, but know an older gentleman I worked with was a boiler maker for many, many years. He is VERY good at what he does, but this just takes the cake. Very complicated welds, but done like a machine. "Really nice work" is an understatement.

Incredible welding but also don't forget perfect cut pieces, all new materials, welded on a bench and probably with fixtures. Some guys with the same conditions can lay stuff close to that with a mig.

75% of welding is being set up and taking the time to be prepared. Think how many times you just pull the trigger on a mig even knowing the **** is just not set up right than hit it 5 more times because it is easy.

A welder once told me that somone who has good handwritting skills make good welders because they can keep that perfect pattern.

  15. Wow . . . ******** beautiful! I just started to learn to TIG weld on steel last year - am getting better (building a frame), but I seriously doubt that I'll ever be 1/2 as good as this guy. He is a master . . . I'm humbled . . .

    Yep, pr0n alright!

I have seen machines/robots weld, they are nowhere near that good.

Not only are the welds nice, the designs are beautiful and very well thought out.

They look nice , but ive worked with a few guys that weld like that. It`s just lots of practice. When i worked at lurhs they had a guy that had been doing t-tops there for 20 years could lay beads like that all day long. That guy is a good welder though.

I work with guys who weld like that as well (with MIG but comparatively as good). Better than a robot can do, IMO. But when you lay wire for 8 hours straight everyday for years, you tend to weed out those who can and those who can't.
