  2. Thanks for all of the input. I've been sidetracked lately and haven't checked on this post. Funny thing now is I came across a place here in MN that is selling fibergl*** '28-'29 Model A Roadster bodies with re-inforced doors and deck for $997, so I'm thinking about that route now, we'll see. Thanks again.

6'1"...230 lbs. Sport coupe made into a roadster. Longer doors means more room inside. 301 sbc and 4 speed muncie means FUN!!!:D

If you want to make a roadster look alike out of a coupe, go for it. Just don't try to tell people its an original ford roadster. It is what it is and if you like it and enjoy it than great! Some people get too hung up on what is proper according to the hot rod gods. I really doubt that you will be pulled over by the hot rod police and have your "license to be cool" taken away because it's not an original roadster. Like someone else posted on this thread there were a lot of coupes with the roofs cut off back then. Look at some of the cars from the salt flats back in the day. a lot of non-original equipment and experimentation body panels, roofs and missing roofs. IF you want a roof and cant find one, how about making a carson top?

Who made your windshield frame? Most of the hallock style frames I've seen are made for the 28/29 roadsters... is that what yours is?

I guess my question is, does a windshield intended for a roadster fit on a coupe cowl?

    Thanks...

p.s... I realize this is an old thread, but worth a shot!
