Jeremy James had told me how bad *** this chop was. And I know and appreciate Jeremy James taste, for we are own the same page with things.
But when he said "man you just have got to see this thing!"

my goodness! he was not kidding!!!

everything I can see is perfect.

words do this kind of talent no justice.

all I can really say is,
    thank you.
thank you for sharing your talent with us.

Thanks for all the great words. We really appreciate it. For the record, no english wheels were used in the shaping of any of those panels. Power hammer, planishing hammer, and good ole hammer and dolly. I'm tryin to find a side view pic of the olds. I've never posted anything before so this whole deal is new to me. I really dig whats going on here on the H.A.M.B. and I like the enormous creativity I see. My old school *** might make it to the 21st century after all.

  5. Please keep posting, that is some nice metalwork!

So from what you posted the rear beltline was actually formed in the new filler panels.........cool?!

Thanks for the props. I dig your A. I was surprised when I saw it was here in NC. We are starting on a one-off aluminum body for a rear engine modified roadster next week. Plans are to run it at Maxton in June then at Bonneville in August. Final ***embly will happen at a friends shop in Rockwell, NC. He is actually the guy who was commisioned to build the car. Should be a cool project.

Here are some pics of a bonneville car we started skinning this past weekend. It's a rear engine modified roadster. We will have it done in about another 2 weeks. Plans are to shake it down at Maxton in June and turn it around for Bonneville Speedweek.

So I gotta see what you've done on the HAMB? Guess I better get over there tonight and make a progress payment... Sinticket: Not far from 152 and Shuping Mill. When the car gets back to my shop, come on by. Say "hi" @ the AutoFair, I'm the old fart @ the Hamb Village with a '56 Chevy custom for sale. vic
