Welcome from an Ex-Bostonian. Great to have you join the madness. Yes, we are all a bit "off" in the head. But, wadda great way to be!! There is a very solid group of rodders all over the country. And there are plenty in New England. Go to meets, shows, runs and so on. Volunteer to collect entry fees, help wash cars, do anything you can do to meet others who have been in the hobby. You will find all rodders to be friendly and helpful, especially if you are honest and enthusiastic. Go for it!! We all started somewhere and we are all still learning.
Thanks guys. This does seem to be a solid group of rodders. I have been reading through some of the posts and you are all very helpful. Hopefully I find a car that is close enough to me and in the right price range cause so far anything that I can afford has been out of mass. It also doesn't help that I don't know anyone that tows and don't have a truck. Maybe someone on here would be willing to help by selling me a car or towing for a few bucks. It stinks only having 600 for a car and towing.
