I don't really know and I'm probably going to get slayed for saying this but I think I saw one yesterday. Unfortunatly I didn't take any pics to reference to. Old Buik, maybe? I'd be very interested to know.

I just found out that this is a 1927 Chevy. Thanks to all that took a peek to help me.
To answer a few of you.... It is now in my shop becoming a mix of '29 Ford Briggs model A cowl to the 27 Chevy body mounted on a home built ch***is powered by a Ford 300 six cylinder with a home built intake manifold with three Stromberg 97's spinning a three speed manual transmission. I never knew what the body was until now... It should be in the road soon and I have had a blast building this one. I've done several show cars and this build beats all.... no rules here!

    Thanks guys again!

  12. Just found a photo of the 1926 Chrysler AND the tree. It's a shame when folks don't take better care of nice old cars.

Ok..... now it looks more like a 26 Chrysler... interesting... I'll still call it yard art... Chevy and Chrysler sure look like alike.

If the rim is 20" it is a Chrysler "24-"27,but most of the fenders had 2 raised beads . most likely it is a Dodge "24 or"25 the "26 had slightly different rear windows.

This 'body' was given to me years ago. I was just a pile when I picked it up or it would go to the dump! All the wood structure was rotted out and it had no structure to hold it upright. I used s**** wood to hold it together for yard art.
It now has tube steel inner structure and is very rigid! It's been a challenge to get everything to fit again and have the doors actually close and stay closed! I channeled the body the body 5 inches and will chop it another 3 inches to get the top down a bit more. If anyone is interested I can send construction pics as I go along.... thanks for the interest.
