Just finished putting a 3.64 Posi third memeber out of 64 Pontiac big car, into my 57 Olds. Woke it right up as you can see from teh pic. Original third member was 29 spline, tried everything to make things work. Long story short had to have axles made the correct length and 31 spline to make it work. FYI- no posi's in 1957 for Old's or Pontiacs, first year was 1958, 29 spline, rare, then 59-64 31 spline. solid cam and dimpled valve covers and you own one of the hottest 57's built. had a friend back in 57 with a factory stick J-2 that 371 made those 270 horse 283 chev's go home with tears in their eyes lol
Yeah. It ws called WW & The Dixie Dance Kings. It featured a customized 55 Olds 4 door hardtop. Painted black and gold, I think.
Damn is that beautiful ! The bottom of your car is nicer than the top of my car. Oh well I'm old, maybe that's it.

C.W. thanks, for 52 years I thought my buddy had the real J-2 and all these tri-power cars were just dealer installed posers. The W-1 export makes sense, I've only seen 2-3 in my life. and have argued my case (p*** the salt it's time to eat crow again) many times over the years. Jim
