Just been hanging out hear for a while and wanted to say this is a cool board. i've asked a few questions already and gotten helpful answers. i have always loved old cars and trucks but only owned 67-72 trucks, but i bought a 50 suburban last summer and its new grounds for me. i know theres lots of answers to my many question here. its great to know if you have questions that need answers you have a palce to go and not feel like a dummy for asking.

  3. Welcome! You didn't say what make on the '67-'72 pickups. I used to have a '72 Ford pickup I bought new that I really liked, most comfortable vehicle I ever had on a long trip. I'm 6'5", bought it for headroom and legroom, not because I really needed a truck. Here's what makes me feel old--my mother's old '81 LTD is as old now as my '38 Ford pickup was when I got it in '66. A '72 is as old now as a '29 Model A was in 1966. Do the math, it's scary.
