Hello all, I'm Alicia from Southern Maine. I recently purchased a 46 Ford 1.5 ton (former dump) truck. I've been begging the previous owner to sell it to me for the past 11 yrs and finally talked him into it. I've started picking it apart and plan on doing a complete frame off. Looking forward to finding lots of ideas and advice in here.

Good morning fellow Mainer and FNG (girl version) I've gotten great info and ideas here, so will you. A few words of caution, don't say "rat rod", "Mustang II front end" or "rachet shifter"... catcalls, hoots and an occasional and off the cuff F-bomb will follow. That is very cool, I love big old trucks! And they can still be found behind barns and the edge of farmers fields up here.
