Does he have agreed collector car insurance like Hagerty or Grundy?
    I certainly hope so!

Hit & run will be 0 points agains't him (happened to me last year) but don't start on the car until he gets a claim number & an adjuster out to see the damage. I had a check for full amount in a week. This year- my insurance actually went down a few bucks! They don't care who fixes it- just that you are happy w/ the job.

Man that sucks though- beautiful car. Glad everyone is OK.

Glad the owners are ok and the search of replacement parts is on. The way these things go the Pontiac that hit him will be uninsured, driver drunk, stoned or illegal, or all of the above. If there is an insurance problem and a lack of funds that old fender and door are great auction items.

Here is another shot of Joe and Nancy's car before before some low-life wrecked it.

It a real shame this happened. My heart goes out to them. My fingers are crossed they have Hagerty or Grundy.

Man, what a shame. That is one of the cleanest Buicks I have ever seen. I love the flames. Again, what a freaking shame. I hope the cops catch the cretin that caused thid mess.

Exactly...otherwise, with a paint job like that...they're about to learn a very painful lesson on just how good insurance companies are at not paying claims.

I've been there. It's ugly. .....and STATE FARM CAN SUCK IT!!!! I hope they're reading this....the pricks.

Oh Nooooo!!! That's terrible!!! Hopefully the parts can be rounded up quickly and the person in the Pontiac is brought to justice. What a bunch of CRAP! Not sure just how I would react if that happened to me. Not sure I could control myself...

BTTT! Let's keep this towards the top with the hope that someone will have the parts needed to get them back on the road!

just to give a final updtade...what happend was the pontiac driver was a bit over ecited leaving the fairgrounds and the other way came a truck also a bit over excited...truck hits pontiac...then truck trys to get away and while speeding away hits the buick and takes off...license plate where seen and police met the dude at home.
the buicks owner has a buddy with 3 more buicks on his yard so hopefully this will make up for parts otherwise ill help him find something here in the parts searching section.
lets hope great balls of fire will return in his old glory soon,
