Just got a 29 Chev

Hi

I just picked up a 29 Chev 4 dr . The car is in great shape, and I have always wanted to build a 50's style hot rod so I have to hack and chop.

My initial thoughts were to chop it 3 1/2 inches , weld in the rear doors and windows and build a panel truck ......any thoughts? Any input would be appreciated.

Welcome from colorado.... The 29 sounds cool. And as said above how is the wood? Cause there is a lot in there. The whole inner skeleton is made of wood wrapped with steel. Not that I am biased. But I like your thinking about the sedan delivery or panel truck. Search my thread titled (28 chevy sedan to a sedan delivery) and see what your up against.
