    I look up the tag (2010-S) on the site you gave me and it says it's A Carter WCD 2010-S 2-barrel . ALSO SAYS ITS FOR <TABLE cellPadding=0 width=760 border=0 itxtvisited="1"><TBODY itxtvisited="1"><TR itxtvisited="1"><TD vAlign=top width=360 itxtvisited="1"><TABLE style="BORDER-RIGHT: black 1px solid; BORDER-TOP: black 1px solid; BORDER-LEFT: black 1px solid; BORDER-BOTTOM: black 1px solid; BORDER-COLLAPSE: collapse" borderColor=black cellSpacing=0 rules=all border=1 itxtvisited="1"><TBODY itxtvisited="1"><TR class=titleLeft itxtvisited="1"><TD class=HeaderStyle style="WIDTH: 350px" colSpan=2 itxtvisited="1">Engines/Vehicles with this Fuel Feed</TD></TR><TR itxtvisited="1"><TD align=left colSpan=2 itxtvisited="1">3.9 Liter 6 Cylinders 115.00 HP

The two is I would think a typo. Neither the Plymouth nor the two pontiacs got 2 barrels, as far as I know.

Ho Kay !! That is the correct # "2010 S " and it is a 2 barrel carb. I have in my litature collection a old Carter carb parts and service manual that covers up into the 60s. That carb is shown in all it's glory ! LOL !!

    it's even listed in the 35-53 Motors manual, 2010 S for a 53 Poncho

    but that's probably a straight 6, not a V6 :)

Different kind of V-6...elderly Pontiac engines are known for sagging in the middle...

I can scan the motors manual pages, pm me. Most carb kits come with instructions and specs though.

Yet another problem ! While taking off the choke plate lever off of my carb which was already missing a screw ,the only screw holding it in place snaped off in the choke plate piston .So my question to you all is ,How do i take out the screws or where can i find another choke plate piston for my carb ??

Choke plate and throttle plate screws were originally "staked" by the manufacturer to prevent them from backing out, and thus being ingested by the engine.

To remove ANY choke or throttle plate screw, remove the staking from the back side prior to attempting to remove the screw. This may be done by using a Dremel with a diamond burr, or a fine flat file. If you (or some previous owner) has twisted off the any of the screws, give me a call, and I will talk you through several procedures that generally work.

New screws are available in some of the top line carburetor rebuilding kits.

The 2010s is indeed a two-barrel carburetor for use on 1953 and 1954 Pontiac 6 cylinder engines. This is an interesting carburetor in that some units have 2 idle mixture control screws, others have only 1. Not at the books right now, and do not remember if early production got 1 then revised to 2; or the other way around.

Both choke shafts and N.O.S. carburetors are readily available.

Try your local hardware store. Should be 3 x 48 round-head machine screw.
