That's just incredible! How did you ever locate that? I wonder what old Chester did int he end, the Model A was a far step above the Tin Lizzie.

One, Two, Three, Five, or even longer......LIKE 80 years they are still running!!!! I always wondered what it would be like to have a company revamp your daily so that it's like a new car at the fraction of the cost. Back then it made sense to take what you have and work with it, people today are still buying new cars just to update even though the economy faces uncertainty. Seems like senseless spending but who am I to say anything? I just spent $800.00 on a SW gauge....not really but you get the point.

That's a pretty cool find Ryan and I wonder how many of those were sent out and how many actually made sense to the owners. Only a couple years later on 10/29/1929 the country would fall into financial distress.

Qverhaul my model T for $80 ! Where do I sign up? Ya got to thank them cheap bastards for holding on to their old cars instead of buying new ones. That mentality has helped preserve the cars we find and build today.

I get come-ons like that every month from the local Chevy dealer. Difference is, just a few of those services cost more than a Model T cost brand new:(
Maybe I'll save 'em so years from now they can get a chuckle about how easy WE had it, back in the good ol days!

I am the Assistant Service Manager at a new car dealer. The more things change, the more they stay the same. The new models are out & do not generate the same amount of work so we need the older models coming in to maintain the same work level in the shop.
