The internet driving a complete new economy and riduculous investment returns that were bound to retract, companies creating thousands of jobs to fight off the Y2K scare that in the end of resulted in the tech burst, complete indifference to international threats that led to 9/11 - yeah, good times....

Worldwide respect? Wasnt this president impeached for lying?

Overall, Clinton was pretty good for this country because he was mostly a centrist - not a liberal spender, not a conserative either.

We are in this deep because our last "conservative" president spent like a liberal. If we think more spending is going to get us out of it, we may be in for a long winter.

Sorry to hear about the job loss, we sure don't need any more of that. But, there are an awful lot of folks in the same boat right now and I think we have to do our best to weather the storm out. It will p***. Hang in there! Great time to be creative.

Well, frankly, I am not that impressed either and don't make the mistake of ***uming Carter and Clinton were any friends on mine. I don't belong to either party. Clinton lied, yes, about getting a BJ from an intern and he was a dumb*** for both doing it and then lying about it. But, not sure many other guys in his position would have done much different. Bush lied about starting a f'n war that has cost us 100's of billions of dollars, a lot of lives and we still have yet to figure out how to either win or get the hell out of without causing a complete disaster. Now which is worse do you think and which has harmed this country more?

As for evil of so******t tax and spend liberals, well read this:

I'm as sorry to hear as well. In Michigan, we can't start a conversation without asking "You still working?"

i have to apologize in advance for argueing, cant help it, plus if you think everything is all right at any point in time your delusional... as for what Mazooma1 said, well that is somewhat right, except the fact is your free-er now, at least socially, if you were gay in 1965 **** if you got anything, in fact you got ****ed with all the time, my GF dad had long hair(thats all) and the wouldnt p*** him in high school, all because o his hair, and trust me he's smart. remember there has to be dark for the to be light, nothing will ever be perfect, just better or worse, and its up to u to make it better or worse, not someone else. im out a job, for now at least, but this summer were planting gardens at both my friends house and my gf house, and we getting ready to not need anyone to live, hope you all can survive, good luck and lots of love

Sorry to hear about your job loss. I lost my job one year ago after 23 yrs of working there, not the economy but poor management. Someone came in and closed our doors right on the spot. Trying to collect some pay since they violated the WARN act, but it is tied up in court. Oh well I found another job quickly and then the old place I worked at was purchased on a bankruptcy sale and I was hired by them. Almost all the factories here slow and have laid off people on top of cutting hours.

Good Luck in what ever you do in the future.

  10. I'm so sick and tired of this "INHERITED" **** I can't hardly stand it. Yeah, they inherited it from that Congresswoman of yours and her ****in' gang. That congress (that controls the money) has been in office for 2+ years and this friggin' melt down happened on their watch.
