42-48 ford axle

I am new and this and building my first truck and need help of the hamb community.... I have purchased a 42-48 ford car axle and have some spindles that came off of an 42-47 ford truck. Will these spindles work on this axle?

Isn't that only if they are from a 1/2 ton? didn't the larger trucks have bigger axles and spindles?
