Just thinking this morning - anyone know the status of Boyd C.'s shop or what was left of his crew? Like it or not the show brought a lot of coverage to the hobby. Hope somehow the legacy continues.

I heard they operate a tofurky ranch and are a major supplier to whole foods and other healthy-living stores. I don't know how reliable my source is though...

We tried to visit the shop in July. There was supposed to be open house Saturday but the shop was empty. The neighbour said that after Boyd p***ed away all the unfinnished cars were made and after that the
shop went bankrupt. But this is just a one version from one person..

Mike left quite a while ago. Dwayne was a bad fit at West Coast, they aren't as disciplined as Boyd's shop was. Haven't heard about what happened to the rest of them.

I always thought that all of that at***ude wasa show put on for TV ratings. Evidently not? Duane must carry that with him wherever he goes.

Looks like Jr is trying to make it selling T-shirts, prints, decals and other goodies. I have a feeling that most people who could pony up the bucks to take a car to his shop wanted to have the idea that the man himself had input on how the car was done and pretty much the same for those who bought his wheels. Once he was gone the interest was gone.

Mike works for Foose, I'm pretty sure... and there was a painter for Boyd a long time ago that also left to join Foose, but I haven't seen him around either.
