    Good info!! If you find A-body 8 3/4's buy them...very rare nowdays and instant cash for you project.
     
  4. Used to have a half dozen A-Body 8 3/4's kicking around, not now . . .
     
  5. I still got a bunch of A body's horded and also disc brake conversions.

    Ok now where do I get backing plates with parking brake cable hole for my 8 3/4 rearend out of my 1955 dodge pick up?

  8. I would think 60's-80's mopar backing plates would work, not sure though.

    8 3/4 axles were introduced in 1957 not 1955.

    Cool chart. I have a good handle on Fords, but not so much on mopars.
