West coast car shows?

I made my first trip to the united states in November 2008. I spent one week in NYC and i can't put into words how awesome i thougth it was. Anyway, this summer i'm gonna spend some time on the west coast. San Fransisco, Los Angeles & Las Vegas...are there any car shows that you guys think i should try to attend? I will arrive 6 July and fly home 23 July.

Whatever you do, save an afternoon to visit the Peterson Museum in L.A.

 

And the NHRA Museum in Pomona

Blackhawk museum in Danville is a short drive from SF.

 

If your up this way, thats a must see....Arlen ness has a huge store/museum nearby in Dublin also. Roy Brizio's shop is literally 5 mins from San Francisco airport too.
