I'm loving the metal art guys:D

I actually did some topical shiznit this week....starting with a '37 extended cab chevy truck. They didn't make extended cab trucks in 1937, but my buddy and his dad built one, and this was commissioned as a b-day gift for the elder.

This is a dragster loosely bases on the Bliss Bros. C/Dragster. I was looking through a Rod & Kulture for inspiration and came across the feature on it. I put this piece in my online store: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=22457797

A little off topic but I thought Mr. Norwell would like them, they're all from Mack firetruck calenders from the late 50's...they're signed "woodi"

Great show as always. Every week there is so much that is inspiring!
I've been having this idea in my head to build a traditional styled 29 Highboy Roadster so many years and recently I've been collecting parts here and there to start the project rolling (no pun intended). I have a semi solid idea of what I really want, but a few ideas in particular for parts. At any rate, I came up with a name for my project and did a quick logo up for the build. At some point soon I plan to get it all sketched up and possibly produce another post from it. Right now, it's just a logo which I plan to put on stickers.

    "gow cart"

I plan to sell these. All the proceeds will go to the build.
    Cheers.

  21. Another old rendering from 1981. Transparency transferred to disc, hence the slightly washed out appearance, especially where the convertible top is blending into the white "sky".

Art markers, Prismacolor & Verithin colored pencils, Nupastel pastels, with Nupastel pastel "grass" dissolved with Flo-Master Cleanser solvent on 18 x 24 inch Clearprint vellum.

[IMG] WE KNOW THERE IS A 41 BUICK LIKE THIS AND ITS AMAZING.ITS A COINCIDENCE WE DID A PAINTING (UNPUBLISHED) OF A 41 BUICK ABOUT FOUR YEARS AGO THEN DREW UP A SHIRT DESIGN SOON AFTER, OUR INSPIRATION WAS BASICALLY A 41 BUICK WITH A HIGHSCOOL CONFIDENTIAL CHOPPED QUARTER WINDOW FILLED ROOF. WE WOULD LIKE TO GIVE THE OWNER OF THE GREEN 41 A SHIRT, ITS A BITCHIN CAR.

Typikal, that '36 is just flat-out exquisite in concept, execution, style and taste.

Just a couple of old things ,since I haven’t been able to find time to do any new stuff recently ,that would be appropriate on this site . You know how it is, gotta make a living , time is hard to manufacture , and when you use all your time trying to keep the bills paid you don’t get to make things you like . Anyway here are a few’ old ‘ pieces that I haven’t posted before , hope a few of you will dig some of this stuff.
