Thanks a lot Paulo! I saw that you know 2 words in portuguese! haha cool

If you want and have a time...send me some pics of your merc for my e-mail... pietropoa@terra.com.br or if you can.....post here.

Are you will chop your merc too? because I have interest to know how to chop top a 4 door...

About the fender skirts.....I really like it...but I think the car need to be very low for a good look...like "no rear wheels"...

    Thanks again Paulo.

Pietro I'll post some pictures When I make Progress, Right now it's just a "Rust-bucket" No chop yet. I speak some Portuguese, but writing is tough. I'm really impressed with your car, it can't be easy or cheap to build there in Brazil.

Ok, Paulo...good luck in your project!

Oh yeah man...Portuguese is very tough to speak and write......I confess that English is a very easy language to speak and write compared with portuguese....I learned English by myself, listening music and reading mags like CKD and Ol'skool rodz....I also went in Vegas for the VLV 10 this year...and there I learned a little bit more about English and the kulture in general...

About build American cars in Brazil....yeah! this is really expensive!....especially when you need to import parts from US....cause' the dollar is 2 times more than Real....bad for me :( ....but now this is good....last year the dollar was 3 times more!!! imagine.... For a guy that works just with illustration...it's not easy! haha

A 5 years ago I bought my merc from my grandfather for R$12.000,00 or $6.000,00....it was not "expensive" the only problem is import parts....I spent a lot of money to bring parts for my flathead.....Ex:now I'm buying a set of four wide whites from coker tire that's cost there $512,00 and it will cost me here R$1.800,00! But if I prefer to buy from a coker representative here in Brazil....I'll pay R$1.800,00 each!

But the real problem is.....after the TV shows like "OVERHAULIN", "RIDES" and that chip foose and boyd stuff started to be transmitted here in Brazil.....the prices here like cars and services are very expensive! the people here had a FEVER and they still spending a lot of money in Hi tech projects...Unhappyly....just a few people here have knowledgement about the traditional Hot Rods and Kustoms...the other people love's original cars or spaceships......
