    Hi Alicia,
Do you pronounce it “a-lee-see-yah”? I mounted an aluminum fuel cell in the bed on my ’72 Chevy PU. It works out great. I knew a girl whose family was into the car scene when I lived up there. Do you have an older sister named Flannery?

"The truck is in the middle of a 5 year restoration/street rod conversion. It's in pieces everywhere. Zigs front end, 283, all wheel disc, rack n pinion, etc... "

Man, I wish I had ***s, that way I could post I was building a streetrod and not get ripped apart for it, oh and I could play with them all the time [IMG]

I was getting a lil annoyed by this thread pushing my request for ***istance down to page two constantly, until I saw this:

Alicia, welcome, you will do OK around here, Good job so far. Your tastes will change if you hang out here long enough. You will start to lean towards the older American stuff and more traditional styling.

Hey Theodore pull your head out of your *** - you might be surprised to know how many people on here with fat fender type rides have "street rod" IFS. I suppose you think all the so-what guys 47-54 Chevy trucks really **** because they are on S-10 frames? It would be a shame if someone actually installed disc brakes on a car to improve the stopping? Do not even try to count how many people have other subframes or Must II front suspensions on their cars......

Now if you are talking a traditional fenderless rod, it better have a beam axle and some nice drum brakes. An A or deuce must have the solid axle to look right, even with fenders. But on a fat fender type truck like Alicia has, running the stock solid axle is not the best solution. She may design billet junk for the weekend Harley crowd, but I do not think that she has mentioned putting/building her truck into billet monstrosity? At least I hope that is what I interpret from the previous posts.

Well I guess it's time for the Big Daddy to take his turn. Welcome to the HAMB doll. We'll try to get you some hip waders to get through all the drool and B.S. LOL

And no earl schieb, it's because she's a cute girl. I don't think we get any kinder and gentler than we already are. Hell, I'm a little chafed at being THIS kind and gentle. [IMG] I feel like there should at least be introductory spankings for all the new girl members.

Now I'm going to go take a cold shower and try not to email her naked pictures of my BSA. [IMG]

    Have fun little miss Alicia,

    Big Daddy Eric

I have nothing of chrome or billet what so ever on my truck aside from the $20 summit air cleaner....lack of anything else to use. I had a k&n flamed air cleaner but I sold it. Got it for free from work and sold it for $110. Thats how that works. Nothing we make here by the way is billet. Its all chrome, the idea being the bike should look like a drop of liquid metal. No seams, lines, anything....
I however prefer seams up stockings, as I am sure most of you guys around here do also.
So here boys...we should raffle a date off with me to pay for the server around here. I get a date with a studly hamb boy, and they pay thru the nose! hehe
Swf 22 in search of greaser hot rod type, to help fund my endless projects. hot rods are a plus, especially ones with lopey cams and ugly paint!
Get in line boys...lol (man this is fun!!) thanks for cheering me up and making me not feel so worthless. hehe
by the way, I would love a bobber any day, however, the type of riding I do wouldn't take nicely to a bobber. I used to race Ducatis, and no, I wouldnt want another one.

I'm not saying it's wrong, just saying if a guy posted that he'd get ripped. More power to her for doing it herself tho, that's cool. And yes, I'm a raging ****. And the SoWhat trucks are kill. Drum brakes work fine tho.

I will be the first to step up on this un-official auction. As long as I keep telling myself that it's for a good cause.
If the money goes to charity(HAMB), is it still considered pros***ution?? [IMG]

well now you lose points, wouldn't want another Ducati, does that mean you're afraid of fast bikes? and a properly set up bobber will definately do the twisties, just in case you're implying that it's wouldn't....

I had a 97 Monster 750, see pix. It was a fun little bike. Comfortable, yet power was lacking, and handling could be alot better....maintenence *****...
Ducatis are ***y, the most ***y bike ever, yet, I really got burned out by all the things people rip on u for owning a Duc. All the rumors are true.

Yeah these boys around here are pretty sad, but its amusing on my behalf. I am like one of the guys, so I dont get offended easily.
