Also, if you DO know what it is, what's it worth? (I know, that's such a noob question to ask, but not knowing means I'm gonna want to research when I find out, so I figured I'd kill two bird with one stone.)

Looks like a '32 Chevrolet, but the firewall is different...probably a Pontiac.

Don't think it's a Chevy--their back windows look more like a frown. Frown. Sounds like I'm nine years old. But that's what they look like to me:D.

I think wood is same as chev. Obvious different in body is the belt line shape. Lower repair panel should be the same.Rear deck maybe the same?

So are panels available? It has small rot on the p*** door, and needs a trunk lid.

I can get this thing for $500.00.

    Worth it?

  19. It's definately a '32 Pontiac. I would say it's worth $500 easily. All the lower patch panels for a '31-'32 Chevy will fit. The deck lid is also the same. You can get reproduction rocker panels, lower patches, deck lid skin, as well as the panel below the deck lid from-www.bowtiereproductions.com.

You can put a 36 Chevy firewall in there and make it look like a 30 Model A. Ha ha

I plan to jump on it. :D

Thanks for all the info, guys.

  26. Man its a damn good looking body no matter what it is! Good luck, that is almost as sweet as a 32 5 window, in fact I bet there is a faction out there that wont be able to tell the difference!
    Doc.

  27. A '32 -anything- coupe body with both doors and not a lot of rot and you're not sure it's worth $500?

Seriously, someone had a '32 Pontiac coupe body at Rhinebeck one year, chopped with fenders molded in for $800. Needed the wood redone from the chop, they'd just patched it together inside. Which I think was scaring most people off from it.. who knows. But I'm pretty sure it still sold by the end of the weekend.

    Understood.

Obviously I'll be putting a steel substructure in this one, but yeah, I could see the wood thing putting some people off who don't want to deal with it.

I'd put a RAM AIR IV in it . Paint it orange with Arnie Bestwick tiger stripes. GRRRRRRR.

  30. I would be looking at the 32 OLDS also. Same body, does it have a golf door on the p***enger side?
