    You should try to make a mold and repop them your self. I would buy one for sure.....

    That looks very similar to the ornament of the Offenhauser roadster built in 1938-39.
    I believe he cast it himself.

    Good luck finding what you want. Personally, I think they're kind of silly, definitely affected and quite a bit too rrrrrr--- rodent rod for me. JMTC

    I would say it is traditional. Isky thought it was cool then, I think it is cool now.

    ya it was off e-gay and sold for some were around 300 i think
    but have not seen another like it i do know it is not new
    and on the right car it would look right at home

    whats the cap its attached to? Looks pretty simple you could get any decent casting place to pull a mold and make you a re-pop

  17. told my pinstriper mate about this thread last night. he knows everything hotrod and said isky and his school mates made around 20 of these back around 39. and one of em has made it all the way over to my little country. he recently striped the T that its on.
     
  18. Skulls are not my bag but that one is neat. I like it even better than the one on the Isky T. If that one is yours there should be someone around your part of the country who can sand cast you a copy.
     
  19. That looks like a knife it's sooo long, here's mine. May not be old school to some but works for me.
