Everyone has some people that love them, and some people that hate them... EVERYONE LOVED DAN. No one would even recognize him if he wasn't smiling, because that's what he was always doing. RIP.
Yep that's Dan @ my shop here in Griffin when he and Don came up for the SFCC HAMB and GRITS in Griffin. Not sure who that is in the black T shirt. A helluva nice guy who will be remembered and missed by many in the Southeastern Hot Rod community, and that Deuce Sedan is one fine machine. As has been said by many, condolences to his family. Dave
aw ****. Thats me talkin to Dan. Im sorry to hear this. He did a wonderful job on his rod. I really liked it, and him. RIP Hodge
**** I dont like hearing this. Dan was one of the guys I always loved to run into at the events. could not bring my own ride to ATL GG and he tossed me his keys so I could go cruise around, he loved that sedan so much i was afraid to drive it but appreciated him offering it up. Its not right
If you never met Dan, you missed a real treat. There were definitely not many like him and he will be truly missed. He always came to any show in the southeast and I always looked forward to meeting up with him at any of them. I have lost a great friend, but he is in a better place. My condolences to his family, Robert.
He was always quick to offer up help or parts to finish a project. He definitely "Got it". Condolences.
Wow... They say that only the good die young.. The last few days have put this statement into overdrive.. Rest in peace, dan. You were too young to leave us. You will be missed.
Dan was such a good guy. After talking to him off and on for a long time I fianlly met him last year at Billet Proof in Ocala. He gave me his card and said I always had a place to stay if in his area. I think this is something that Dan offered to all of his friends. After leaving Ocala on saturday, I got back to Indy on Sunday evening, later the phone rang and it was Dan, he just wanted to make sure we got home alright. I will miss talking to him, he was such a great guy. I wondered why there were no pictures of his sedan at the billetproof show this year because I know he would have been there, Now I know.........
http://obit.mcculloughfh.com/wrapper_gb.php?id=651149&clientid=mcculloughfh&listing=Current Here is a link you can use to let his family know your thoughts, I doubt that they are on the HAMB right now...
I did not know him either but this ****s......I watched a family member die of cancer recently and it is horrible, so I hate to hear of someone else having to go through it. At least his family can have some comfort in knowing just how many friends Dan had here on the boards, people that never actually met him concidered him a friend and mourn his loss.......RIP Dan.
