I've boiled it down to 2 layouts. Eric Vaughn is going to punch them for me. Let's call the first one "A" and the second "B". I know the louvers are slightly angled, I cropped them off of another roadster and the angle was different from my side shot but you get the idea. Which one do you like?
I'm up for suggestions...except I'm bored with "C" This is tuff, any photo shoppers wanna take a crack? Leaning towards A...but I think B looks good on the 32, not so sure about my A roadster though.
I like "A" It looks like it's moving forward. Here's a great looking car with the "A" style layout. Manny Betes' roadster.
It's funny you posted this...Manny Betes roadster was/is my inspiration originally. I have that same pic hanging in my garage. The only thing I see being a problem is Manny's louvers appear to be longer than Eric's die (Eric's are smaller). When I go to Eric's shop he has some louvers already stamped out that we can play with on my sides.
I think that example "A" gives a more aggressive look. The top one being more forward then the bottom gives the idea of forward motion while stationary. It looks by for more racy then "B" but both are nice examples. Very nice build.
Thanks everyone...I believe the "A's" have it! It is similar to Manny's style and what I was more leaning towards. I'll bring this back up after Eric punches me! : )
I like B better if you shortened the bottom row to about 2/3rds the length of the top. (((((((((( ....(((((((
