Just seeing what every one is using for there drop axle's. Is there any one better company than another to go with? I am looking to possibly buy the entire kit with springs, shackles and arms and maybe even one loaded with spindles and brakes ( just to keep it easyer )

    Cheers Chris

I just started rebuilding the same front end on a 30-31 Tudor (w/Fenders) and bought brakes/rotors (yes, using discs - the kids will be riding in this one)... then found it was too wide for fenders. So i had to buy new 46" wide I-beam axle (vs. 48") and a new narrow spring. Now have to by a new shorter drag link, etc.

After this experience, be sure to think through Fenders (46" axle) vs. Fenderless (48" axle), etc. I think i could've replaced the whole front end as a kit much cheaper than buy individual pieces that made up less than the whole kit.

Sometimes, trying to save $ by being cheap doesn't pay in the long run!
