Today i finally pulled it out and got some decent pics of it instead of all the garage shots i've had. It's just about done for the most part.
Next winter i will do the interior, and i still need to paint the filler panels that go between the bed and boards, thats why they are not there in the pics. And i have to paint the ends of the dash too.
Also need to get bumpers for it too and i'm currently working on finishing up the chop on the vent windows and getting side gl*** in it..should be done by mid next week..
But, it's drivable and is about ready for a season of hard daily driving..
It does NICE smokey burnouts too! no pics of that....yet :)

These are just general, random pics..

Nice, Tony. Congrats and glad we aren't the only ones without bumpers. Putting them on now seems, well, like a crime!

Ha...that's one reason why they are not on yet..I dig the look of the front without one....but don't think i want to just run one and i'd like to have one out back considering my gas tank is in the rear section of the frame..anything as protection is better than nothing, but time will tell if it see's one, both, or none.
    thanks!

We are still looking at putting the '54 Bel Air headlight rings and body line on the front fenders. We MAY go with the 54 car front bumper.

We did the same with the S10 blazer rear tank on ours as well. It should have SOME protection. Especially since my kid is only 16 and I don't want him making an emergency stock and some *** hat on his cell phone going under him.

I think it should be ok really. The tank i used was one we fabricated from stainless. It's about 17 gallons and is pretty tight but should work out good. I think i'm gonna need the fuel capacity with this thing!:D

    Thanks Bruce.
The seat is from an 89 Silverado and fit's damn nice! I did remove the factory seat riser though, and also shortened the Silverado seat mounts 2" to get the seat down a bit and make it more comfortable.
The seat will fit with the seat riser in place though. But you either have to modify the riser or cut and flip the seat mounts around so they don't interfere.
I'd HIGHLY recommend using one of these seats..so damn comfortable and such a nice fit.

Phil, it would certainly hold it's own at Jesse's..it's so damn light out back.
The silver stuff is Heat/sound deadener. The stuff i used i bought from Lubocrod (Mike) here on the HAMB. Very nice stuff and it was extremely easy to work with. His prices are great too. I'd highly recommend doing business with him if you looking for that stuff.
I have to see if i have a motor pic..it dosn't look much diferent than any other sbc though..

    Thanks a lot guy's.
