    I sent my Burrell 2x2 intake to **** York (****ster27) for carbs. I had seen a lot of pieces he put together, and since i'm terrible with carbs, I decided to have it done right.

    Wow, am I impressed! Thanks again ****!!!

    Looking at yours and the others I've seen the man is an Artist and his medium is carb's !

    Gas goes in the fuel line, Air goes in the breathers and the mixture goes into the engine which just sits there and looks at ya cause it weighs 900 pounds and is too heavy to move.

    But sitting there and looking good IS cool enough.

    And a sbc or y block should be put in everything, right?

    1938 flathead coupe hp/weight= 28.51

    1938 ford coupe ratio = 32.34

    Sometimes, you have to dare to be different. Or, you could go the sheep route....

    Don't worry about it... It works... I send all of my customers to **** for carbs, linkage and fuel lines. The guy is HONEST and GREAT at what he does.

    I have been dealing with **** for many years, he is a friend and a hell of a... intake manifold ***embly carb builder engineering make sure your happy great tech support and ***embler guy...

    I'm with ya...just giving ya a hard time.
    I started doiwn that same road....was gonna put one of them beasties in a '36 Chevy PU. Love the look, and it is WILDLY diffeent.

    I know why I sold the PU...they are UGLYYYYYYYY.....
    still don't know why I sold the flathead tho.
    I do have a '53 Merc flathead for my next project. Goes just as slow, just weighs less.
