I have always been a user of Stewart Warner ( ever since I could buy a set ) ... and remember when ALL the good cars had them, all my heros had them and almost all the moonshiners had them. I have a nice old ( pre Mexico ) set for the 32 3W ... gathered over the years.

I have the same EXACT set up in my 32 roadster but with a black dash. The woodgrain just did not look right with the SW gauges ... So I went and got a set of AutoMeter Beige Antique style gauges ... :)

I like the new ones better ... and so does my wife :) ... which is kind of COOL because it is really her car ... .

I have to admit I saw the Autometers in 3 Deuces 1932 sedan build and that influenced me to change ...

Good choice Randy. They will fit the vibe of the 3w just right.

That whole dash is good looking!

  4. I agree, think the "new" antique gauges look great!

    Now, let's see.....

The new-style Stewart-Warner gauges are actually antiques now and the "antique" looking gauges are new?

That's Air Conditioning ... and DynaMat.

After 30 years of riding in a HOT, WINDY 32 roadster ... the wife wants to ride in a A/C equipped coupe ... :)

Randy the dash is looking great. I am not sure I could of strayed from the traditional SW black gauges. but looks good and even more important the owner (wife) likes them

...and when Momma's happy, everyone is happy :)

Beautiful dash, by the way. It's stock, yet it isn't.

  11. Lessee . . . trailer hitch for the coupe, tow bar for the roadster.

No trailer queen jokes here and everyone's comfy.

I was prepared to not like the the antiques - me bein' an S-W guy and all - but they look pretty good.

The middle instrument is a dual?
Speedo and maybe an ammeter or voltmeter?

Dash looks great, your sweetie has good taste.

    You're a lucky guy....

    :D:)

Like I stated in the opening, I just LOVE old Stewart Warners but with the woodgraining ... the VIBE was all wrong to her and I.

The dual gauge is a speedometer and a Tachometer
    Autometer number 1881 ...
