Ok, I hope I'm posting in the right place! I'm posting for my dad (Bill). He is looking for info on this car. Its a possible Ted Brown. Run as a gas altered with injected Chevrolet in C/A or B/A. Later coverted with a blower to attempt bb/a and it could not compete with the Chrysler hemi's. Car lived its life at Lions, Irwindate, Orange County; last ran 1980 at OC. Thanks, Kara
Here is a chopped Fiat Torpolino fibergl*** body for $1100 in Orange County, Ca http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/pts/1063297082.html
Kara: Wow that Fiat is unbelievable.. First off thank you very much for posting it. Please post more pics. Tell your Dad great deal and let us know where he will be running the Car. The 471 with the shortened Bugcatcher is very unique. Looks like whoever, did a nice job too. The way the Grill is shortened and the Leaf spring front are all strong points about the Car. How is the Rear mounted?? Also consider that the Front may have been added later. As posts can sometimes fly by on the HAMB so fast I would respectfully suggest you post here.. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=228509 http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=170635&highlight=altered For kicks and giggles you could try.. (you have to join) http://www.headerflames.com/forum/ There are some seasoned west coasters that view there. Thanks again and please post some more shots also have your Dad chime in.
Bumping the thread as this car is just to cool to get HAMBsped by.. Kara I am sending this to Rich Venza. He owned and owns a Fibergl*** company that makes bodies like this. Mucho knowledge on the Fiat. Check your PM
