Hey All, Been reading the posts here for a couple of weeks. Going to start participating now. Call myself old, but just feel old this evening. I'm 50 years young and still love cars the same I did when I was a kid. I've got a 53 Hudson Super Wasp that I am building into a mild custom. Chop was done at the factory the day they stamped the body, so the hard part is already done. I will post some pictures soon and pick your brains for ideas. I have the talent to do most any mods, but lack any artistic or creative abilities. I can copy anything, but **** at originality. Glad to be on board and have the chance to mingle with such a huge group of artists, craftsmen, and car nuts. Was born a Texan, raised a Texan, and spent 50 years there, but had to transplant to Florida a couple of months ago. Looks like the rod scene is pretty strong around central Florida and hope to make some new friends down this way. Bob

Hello Bob, My name is Skip. I live right next door in Auburndale, and it looks like we may be the only hambers in Polk County, hehe. I build heaps out of junk and stuff I find in dumpsters, and typically shove 'em right back in the dumpster when I'm done. My current mess is a '60 Stude Lark street/strip car that I'm just getting started on. There's plenty hot rod stuff to do in Florida, once you get out of Polk anyway
hey there My name is Wayne and I am in Tampa. I also transplanted down here. Nice tosee ya on the board
