Very cool, in every possible way.

 

Spent many years ice racing cars, mostly honda civics, Saabs and VW rabbits and golfs. Fun and cheap. have seen 100 + in my stock civic Si several times. Was running preped tires though.

 

Wet Lakes vs. Dry Lakes?????

 

Thanks Razorback! Nice pictures. Sorry I wasn´t there to see it. Heard up front there was supposed to be timing. Was it? Anyone set any fast times.

 

Yes Badtaste, there were timing. The fastest were a Suzuki Hayabusa 1300cc that drove around 250 km/h, with some serious spike tires, -34 Ford Roadster were clocked around 200 km/h. The -55 g***er I think drove almost 180 km/h.

How about that Garden-Tractor with a kawasaki 900 engine? It ran about 200 km!1 Will put up some pics when i get home. there wasd also a 2000 hp pro mod pick up on that ice...

Whoa! You guys have balls of admireable size. 200km/t in a roadster on ice are crazy fast.
