You might want to consider doing a little more stiffening of the mount for your rear end top link. This link is in tension when you hammer that blown SBC and I can tell you it will bent that piece of square tubing that you have it attached to. Speaking from experience.

I don't even like Ts but yours is really bitchen! Great stanz, and good ideas. It looks like it will be a great car. I did something similar with the cowl steering on my 29 rpu. I wanted the drag link to be inline with the radius rod so I had to add a slot in the cowl for clearance.

  4. Looking good dude. Another vote for not chopping it.

  5. Great look.

I especially like the stock top.

The car will be plenty low, looks like 56"-58" at the tops highest point.

Aside from being different due to not being chopped, ingress and egress should be easy for both front and rear seat passengers.

Thanks for the rear end pic, like I said nice work, you seem to have attended to all the things that make a difference.

Thanks rex but the top link is not attached to the square tubing, picture is fooling you. The top link is attached to the lower link making an adjustable pinion ladder bar.

The top will not be chopped and will use a model a visor. One of the goals is to keep the back seat and interior comfort is a must.

  10. What's with the looks-almost-like-a-rollbar windshield frame on the roadster in the background?

You nailed it on stance. Mucho Bueno... I like it unchopped as well. Looks bad ass, unlike all the cartoon cars running around. Can't wait to see more progress.

If a back seat is a must where is the gas tank going to go or will they just be sitting on it?

so many of those get ruined by overchopping and channeling til the doors scrape the pavement whe you open them.
