late 60's US nat's pit picks old color shots

    here's some color pics I got in my album from a friend who took them while out roaming the pits at indy in the late 60's (probibly 67-68?). enjoy:D

    yeah I have to dig them outthen I'll post em up. I have lots of local pics/movies mainly maple grove,york,atco,e-town & cecil just have to get time to scan them or trnsffer them to dvd to post them on you tube.

    Love to share just hate the time it takes to scan and crop all the stuff.

    Nice photos.Love that stuff.I see the Ford cammers were hot.Good to see Sneaky Pete.The Willys'Shaker"looks like it took a tumble.

  12. After further review, i think that unpainted fueler in the same set of the Wheeler Dealer and the Freight Train is my grandparents first Don Long car..their first Great Expectations entry...Hank Westmoreland or Bub Reese were piloting...67 is probably the year...These are awesome!

    The picture on the first page of this thread is of the filthy after charlie hill sold it. This is a picture of the car at indy in 1963 the year that charlie and pork won the nationals. One of my very favorite cars.
