1953 Brit Couldn't Pass it up... Anyone want to Photochop it?

    No; it's not the "fast" one ! The chassis number is TD/21970 indicating a standard car (not a Mark II that is) built in November 1952; but in a very nice condition !!!
    Do NOT put wire wheels on a TD as they don't seem to blend in with the bodywork as nicely as on the TC or TF (IMHO).
    That TF "rotting on the lawn", might have the faster engine though: it seems to be a 1250 TF which had the Mark II spec engine as standard...

    That is a magnificent TC you have "damnfingers" ! Eaton M35 ? Looks quite the part too. Damn good show old boy !!!
    I'm thinking along similar lines for my MG TD restoration/modification.

    Close, Sir Percy....it's an Eaton M45 developing about 6lbs of boost right now. Engine has a ton of torque but I have to take it easy...too much compression.
